Human Resources Manager

About Us: Consulting Business Innovation (CBI) is a global leader in business process outsourcing (BPO), call center, and contact center services. We are looking to expand our team with a motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement human resources efforts to support the organization’s mission and strategic vision.
  • Review and recommend improvements to personnel policies, procedures, and practices to executive management.
  • Serve as a strategic business advisor to senior management on organizational and management issues.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on HR and Employee Relations aspects of business operations and strategy.
  • Develop, drive, and implement the execution of each business unit’s talent agenda, focusing on development initiatives including workforce planning, performance management, selection, and retention strategies, while continuously improving the talent pool across all lines of the business.
  • Lead or facilitate the conflict management process, including consulting, training, and conducting research. Provide guidance and recommendations, implementation, and follow-up of conflict resolution strategies.
  • Maintain responsibility for the organization’s compliance with Dominican Labor Law.
  • Provide support in the development and implementation of comprehensive, competitive, and cost-effective compensation and benefits plans for the organization.
  • Serve as the primary contact for benefit plan vendors and third-party administrators. Coordinate the transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums, and plan administration. Evaluate and review internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefit processes. Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reports and fees.
  • Lead succession planning and career development plans, identify and assist management by recommending solutions to capability gaps within the organization. Implement action plans regarding culture change, employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and talent management.
  • Provide valuable advice, guidance, and influence management on employee relations matters including employment law and company policies. Investigate any employment law concerns, provide recommendations, and implement solutions based on the investigation process. Prepare a summary report on employee relations issues.
  • Responsible for identifying and anticipating potential issues of varying complexity, assessing risks, recommending effective solutions, and participating in creating ongoing corrective measures to ensure resolution.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain a human resources information system that meets the organization’s personnel information needs.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting to Tesorería de la Seguridad Social (TSS), and manage vacation, time off, and other HR functions.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of ADP payroll and HR systems.
  • Ensure effective labor relations and compliance with Dominican regulations.
  • Optimize organizational performance and efficiency through effective human capital management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced HR-related degree preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Senior Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • 2 years of experience in HR management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using ADP payroll and HR systems.
  • Knowledge of Dominican labor laws is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple competing tasks.
  • Experience with reporting to Tesorería de la Seguridad Social (TSS), and managing vacation, time off, and other HR functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
