We are looking for a passionate Senior Government Contracting Consultant to join our team as an independent contractor (1099), with the opportunity to become a permanent employee upon meeting performance metrics.
Job Description:
The Senior Government Contracting Consultant will leverage their expertise in government contracting to support our clients in securing and managing government contracts. This role requires a deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations, compliance requirements, and strategic planning. Candidates must be self-motivated and capable of driving results independently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in government contracting and consulting
- In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR)
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Bilingual is a plus but not a requirement
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on government contracting processes and compliance requirements
- Develop and implement strategies to secure government contracts for clients
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities
- Prepare and review proposals, bids, and contract documents
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and clients
- Monitor contract performance and provide ongoing support to clients
- Assist clients in resolving any issues or disputes related to government contracts
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in government contracting
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing government contracts
